The enemy, satan and his followers, bring retaliation after we have won great battles in the Spirit that have destroyed his kingdom and has returned to us what has been stolen from us. We begin to celebrate and rejoice in the goodness of the LORD. Our lives seem to be in order again, and our families appear to be in unity, and our possessions are blessed with abundance, and life is worth the living in the presence of our Savior...and then all of a sudden time has gone by and all is well, and then we sense that everything is in control, and our guard has somewhat down, and our sneaky enemies seize a moment to slip in an idea designed to destroy us and our relationship with the Father with something we shouldn't do or not do something we should.
The devil will always be a liar and wise as a fox deceiver. If he doesn't deceive us in our own intelligence he will convince us to use what the LORD has blessed us with against GOD by taking control and making decisions without asking the LORD first.
David experienced all the pain and suffering from doing that very act,and it was not only painful for him,but all the people. Thank GOD for David's heart in repentance that spared the well being of the people.
This is a powerful lesson for all of us. Our decisions can affect many, not just ourselves, and our spiritual enemies will whisper in our ears that "we're not hurting anybody else",and that dangerous thought can afflict the multitudes, We must take EVERYTHING to GOD in prayer (Philippians 4:6) to protect our legacy and jump levels into our destiny!!!
